Dr. Ali Al Marri is the Managing Director of Gulf Engineering & Industrial Consultancy (GEIC). A professional mechanical engineer by education and training, Dr. Al-Marri earned his Master of Science Degree from Cranfield Institute of Technology in the year 1985 and Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering from University of Wales, United Kingdom in 1990. Dr. Al-Marri began his professional career as an engineer in 1978 in the Ministry of Electricity and Water, and his career culminated in the position of Director of Programmes & Projects Department of the Ministry in the year 1991. He has also served as member in a number of official committees and project teams.\n
